Do some good while you shop

WITH ECOLOGI

We recently launched the One product One tree system on our website which allows you to plant a tree for every item you buy. Through our backing of the Eden Reforestation Projects in the Mau Region of Kenya and restoring mangrove estuaries in the northwest part of Madagascar, We've been able to support the rebuilding of essential infrastructure for local families.

Planet

Trees play a key role in cleaning the air we breathe and absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, acting as the lungs of the earth. They also provide local communities direct access to food and shelter opportunities, regenerating the natural relationship between Mother Nature and contemporary societies.

Wildlife

Home to over 80% of the world’s plant and animal species, forests in the global south provide a habitat and food sources to hundreds of species while conserving biodiversity in the ecosystem.

Community

Local people are lifted out of poverty through job creations, driving economic growth in those regions.

CLIMATE PARTNER

Impact

As of 2022 We have committed to decreasing our carbon footprint by 50% in the next 12 months with the help of ClimatePartner. Each month we dedicate 5% of our revenue to sponsoring meaningful projects in the global south to empower locals to build new infrastructure in their region.

CurrentlyWe are supporting the development of clean water projects in Atsimo-Andrefana in south east Madagascar, by reallocating a percentage of our monthly sales to develop Solar-powered water pumps in this region. The construction and commissioning of solar-powered wells gives people access to clean drinking water, eliminating the need for emission-intensive boiling of water. The emissions thus saved are verified by an independent third party and then verified by the Gold Standard in the form of CO₂ certificates.

Harnessing the power of circular economy

Use, Share, Prolong..

...Reuse, Remake, Recycle

In a circular economy for fashion, the first priority for any product is to be used more and for longer. Once it cannot be used anymore, it can be remade into another product or its materials can be recycled.
By Making sure a product goes through the loops of sharing, longer use, reuse and remaking before its materials are recycled or returned to nature, it is maintained at its highest value for as long as possible.
Designing clothes that are durable, easily repairable and customisable means we can radically increase use, reducing cost per wear and lessening the environmental impact at the same time.

With the introduction of The Greenburd initiative, we have provided generous discounts for more people to shop from our sustainable collections through Greenburd Sundays. As well as other projects such as private garment customisation and systemic donations to climate and human rights non-profit organisations, we are now also providing an easy-access informative directory of all the best tailors in selected cities, starting with London, UK. From June 2022, we are launching 'Best Tailors Near You', a curated list of highly skilled local tailors where you can get alterations to ensure prolonged use of your clothes.
